CAMBRIDGE — Queenstown Bank has appointed local banker Dori Weber as the new branch manager for its Cambridge Branch.
According to a press release from the bank, Weber brings a wealth of experience and a deep connection to the Dorchester County community. Her banking career is marked by a steady progression through various roles, including teller, consumer loan originator, marketer, mortgage officer and branch manager.
The bank said Weber will be instrumental in the transition from the current branch location to Queenstown Bank’s new branch on Route 50 next year.
“We’re excited to have Dori be on our Branch Management team by joining our Cambridge Branch,†said Queenstown Bank President and CEO Kevin Cashen in the release. “With her experience in banking on the Eastern Shore and her connections to the community, customers should be assured that the Cambridge Branch is in good hands with a Branch Manager who knows the area very well.â€
A native of Dorchester County, Weber’s commitment to the community is evident through her years of service on the Dorchester Chamber of Commerce board, her volunteer work with area nonprofits and her role in introducing several successful community events. Currently, she serves on the board of directors for the Dorchester Center for the Arts.
Queenstown Bank of Maryland was established in 1899 and currently has nine branch locations within Queen Anne’s, Talbot, Caroline and Dorchester counties.
