Why do I have to sign in every time I come back to the website?

Internet browser cookies may be disabled on your device. You will need to enable browser cookies for our website in order to stay logged in.

The following is an overview of how the supported browsers (the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer on PC, and Safari on Mac) retain login credentials for our website.

Please keep in mind that retention of your login credentials happens in the browser on your computer or device. The configuration of individual browsers, and their extensions, add-ons, plugins, private browsing, etc can cause a wide range of browser behavior when it comes to staying signed on (or not) to any one website.

Browsers can store your credentials to StarDem.com either with a limited, built-in password 'manager', or by accepting login cookies from our website.

The built-in password 'manager', if enabled in the browser settings, usually will prompt you with a question when you log on to a site for the first time, such as "Do you want [browser name] to save your login information to https://stardem.com?" If you choose "Save Password", the browser will store it. If you choose "Never for this site" and you change your mind later, you will need to go into the settings and remove the site from the list of sites the browser will never to remember the password for. After that, the prompt should appear again and you can choose "Save Password".

Accepting the login cookies from our website starts with checking theÌý"Keep me logged in" box while signing in.

If you want to add exceptions for our website to an otherwise strict cookie policy in your browser settings, you will need to allow cookies for https://stardem.com.

Please note that "bookmarking" the site, or "adding to favorites", usually only retains the domain name, not the login credentials.
