九色视频 鈥 Vetagro marked a new chapter in its global story on Maryland鈥檚 Eastern Shore. The Italian company broke ground this week on a new production and distribution facility at Mistletoe Hall Commerce-Business Park in Easton.
Expected to open in July 2026, the Easton facility will serve as Vetagro鈥檚 first full-scale U.S. manufacturing facility. While the company maintains a European presence in Italy, the new Easton plant will expand capacity and significantly strengthen Vetagro鈥檚 ability to serve North American customers and international markets, the company said in a press release.
Andrea Piva, president of Vetagro, describes the decision as both strategic and deeply intentional.
鈥淎s an Italian company, we have built our reputation on scientific excellence,鈥 Piva said. 鈥淓xpanding our presence with a fully integrated production and distribution facility in the United States is a natural next step in our strategy.
鈥淓aston offered more than logistical advantages,鈥 he said. 鈥淲e discovered here a collaborative business climate, proximity to research centers and government agencies, and a welcoming community. Those qualities convinced us this was the right place to grow.鈥
The company鈥檚 journey to Easton was supported by the Maryland Department of Commerce, which worked with Vetagro to identify suitable sites and connect with developers. By locating within one of Maryland鈥檚 Enterprise Zones, the company will qualify for property and state income tax credits tied to job creation and investment.
Maryland Commerce Secretary Harry Coker Jr. called the groundbreaking a milestone for the state鈥檚 growing biotech and agricultural technology sectors.

Local leaders said the company鈥檚 arrival signals new opportunities for economic growth and innovation.

In the press release, Vetagro said it decision to build in Easton underscores the region鈥檚 growing reputation as a place where global companies can find both opportunity and community.
鈥淭he facility is expected not only to expand Vetagro鈥檚 operational capacity but also to create jobs, strengthen the local economy, and expand Maryland鈥檚 role in advancing animal nutrition worldwide,鈥 the release said.
