DENTON — The Fiber Arts Center of the Eastern Shore will offer a fourth edition of the fun and popular Baltimore Country Appliqué Quilt Class with instructor Kay Butler.
Participants will focus on the hand appliqué techniques to render four beautiful quilt blocks to make a quilted wall hanging/quilt. Classes will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 24, April 28, June 2 and June 30. Each block will be a 16-inch squares. Instructor will collect $10 fee for printed pattern.
Each month participants will construct a block and learn how to appliqué stems, flowers, circles and more. Students will become adept at appliquéing lovely designs.

The “Baltimore’s Country Cousins” quilt pattern book by Susan McKelvey is available on Amazon for about $6.75 used, plus $3.50 shipping. The book is not a requirement but is a great reference, according to the instructor.
