STEVENSVILLE — A local couple saw how traditional saunas, cold plunges and red light therapy could transform recovery, manage stress and take care of their bodies. With a new business, they seek to make it accessible.

Celebrating a ribbon-cutting in Stevensville recently, Silent Recovery Hot and Cold Therapy offers a unique blend of wellness therapies, with saunas, cold plunges and red light therapy to support muscle recovery, reduce inflammation, improve circulation and promote relaxation.

Operated by Matt and Anna Tayman of Henderson in Caroline County, the studio offers customizable personalized and couples rooms.

Matt said he has always had an interest in physical fitness and wellness and was eager to share that passion with others.

This type of recovery isn’t just for athletes, but for anyone looking to add additional wellness benefits into their daily life, he said.

Interest has been steady as more people realize the benefits of saunas, he said.

“There is nothing like it in the area,†Anna said.

The new facility is located off Pier One Road in Stevensville.
