The world is slowly coming to realize that carbon dioxide emissions are not a threat. Fifty years ago scientists theorized what rising levels might cause. They put ideas into models.

Early models predicted temperatures would rise 0.2 to 0.5 degrees Celsius per decade. Other models predicted changes in weather conditions and ice melt.

Now, after more than 40 years recording data, it is seen that neither the temperature rise nor the changes that were predicted have occurred. The latest IPCC report now says that the actual rise is 0.008 degrees per decade and that the contribution of carbon dioxide to the temperature is uncertain. The IPCC is now making significant changes to models.

The latest IPCC report also notes that plant life is spreading and crop yields improving. Slow incremental warming and more carbon dioxide are manageable and beneficial. The early hypotheses of threatening outcomes have been disproven. There is no doubt that human activity is changing the mix of matter in the atmosphere. It is also clear that earth systems are either unaffected by the change or benefitting from it.

It is time to end climate change funding and use the funds to address real problems.
