1. Safe Chain owners sentenced to 38 years for $92M counterfeit HIV drug scheme. Brothers who built a pharmaceutical distribution company in Cambridge were sentenced last week after a jury found they bought HIV medications off the street and funneled them back into the national drug supply, leaving at least one patient unconscious after taking the wrong medication.

4. Cambridge man forgoes murder trial, pleads guilty to robbery misdemeanor. Kah鈥橺ion Johnson, 19, will serve five years of supervised probation for one count of conspiracy to commit robbery during the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Alyson Elien in Cambridge in June 2025.

5. Man charged with kidnapping, carjacking in Easton. A man is facing seven criminal charges after an incident last week in which he allegedly attempted to steal his ex-girlfriend鈥檚 car in Easton, driving away with her clinging onto the hood.

6. Tornado warnings lifted in parts of Caroline County. Multiple tornado warnings issued by the National Weather Service for parts of Caroline County on Monday night were lifted at 11 p.m.

7. Cambridge physician named Maryland鈥檚 top family medicine educator. Dr. Eugene Newmier of Cambridge has been named the 2026 Family Medicine Educator of the Year by the Maryland Academy of Family Physicians.

8. Woman killed in rollover crash in Dorchester County. A woman died last week after striking an electrical box with her car and overturning, according to Maryland State Police.

9. Easton鈥檚 annual St. Patrick鈥檚 Day parade. Easton residents lined the streets to catch school bands, floats, golf carts, businesses, town leaders and more march up and down the streets in celebration of St. Patrick鈥檚 Day.

10. Delaware teen killed in Queen Anne鈥檚 County crash. A 19-year-old was killed in a two-car crash last week just outside Millington, according to Maryland State Police.
