The annual Local Color Art Show and Sale continues in Easton from Thursday, July 21, through Sunday, July 24.
The event is sponsored by the Working Artists Forum and coincides with the Plein Air Easton (PAE) Competition and Arts Festival.
The WAF art event started Wednesday. Tim Kelly is serving as judge for this year’s program. He was the grand prize winner at the 2021 Plein Air Easton 2021.
Forty two local Delmarva artists will be featured at the 2022 show and sale. Their works will be displayed and offered for sale at the Fellowship Hall of Christ Church, located at 111 S. Harrison Street Easton, MD.
Free art demonstrations will also take place, open to the public. They held in either the air-conditioned Waterfowl Building or Christ Church.
Artists Nancy Tankersley, Daniel Robbins and Charlie Hunter will be featured at the live demos in front of the Waterfowl building. A portion of each Local Color artwork sale goes to the local schools to help buy art supplies for their art curriculums.
