Residents pack the council chambers on May 19, 2025. Easton's council meeting on Monday was canceled since at least three council members won't be able to attend.
¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ — Monday's Easton Town Council meeting has been canceled since the council will not have a quorum.
The Town of Easton announced the cancelation in a Facebook post on Monday morning. The post cited that at least three of five council members must be able to attend for a quorum to be had, a mark that won't be met.
Monday's agenda previously included a public hearing on a campaign finance ordinance for town elections, among other items.
Easton's next council meeting is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 6 at 5:30 p.m.
