Lawrence Scott, an attorney for Easton Sunrise Partners, explains the benefits the 365-unit Fox Chase Estates could provide to Easton in terms of affordable housing.

Planning Commission vice chair Michael Ports shares concerns about a lack of connectivity of a proposed 365-unit development on the north end of Easton.

So we've put a hospital in the approach path to the airport, now 300+ houses? Noise complaints? Check the FAA requirements for noise abatement around airports.

That is hilariously untrue. I'm not sold on this plan, especially considering the lack of access points, but. When you consider our county is the least affordable on the entire Delmarva peninsula (judging by median income compared to median cost of mortgage), the idea that we are at capacity is a joke. Affordability in housing is a MAJOR concern in the town. Just ask any recent graduate or school teacher or firefighter if they can afford to live here ...
